Blood, sweat and bugs: On the battlefield of the manuscripts

In Papiergewittern (The Storm of Paper): Major Ernst Jünger Exhibition in Marbach am Neckar, Stuttgart

From 7 November 2010 to 27 March 2011, the German Literature Archive in Marbach is presenting an exhibition entitled “Ernst Jünger. Arbeiter am Abgrund” (i.e. "Ernst Jünger. worker on the brink") at the Literaturmuseum der Moderne.

At the heart of the exhibition are over 280 diaries and manuscripts written by the writer and philosopher during the course of his life. For visitors unfamiliar with Jünger, the exhibition offers an introduction to Ernst Jünger’s long life and extensive oeuvre. The majority of the 600 or so exhibits have never before been exhibited or published.
